Man arrested after fatal shooting in downtown St. Louis
A man died after being shot around 10 a.m. Monday on Tucker near Lucas in downtown St. Louis.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - Police arrested a 23-year-old man Tuesday morning who was allegedly involved in a fatal shooting in downtown St. Louis Monday morning.
The shooting happened around 10 a.m. on Tucker near Lucas. Police said witnesses told them there was an altercation prior to the shooting. The victim was found lying on the sidewalk suffering from a puncture wound to his head.
Around 2:40 p.m., police found the suspect entering a library on Olive Street, and took him into custody.
Police identified the victim as 44-year-old David Saldana of St. Louis.
