ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - A second man has been charged in the shooting death of a 28-year-old man man in the City of St. Louis on Sept. 26.

Robert Marshall, 28, was charged Monday with unlawful possession of a firearm. On Thursday, police announced that Calvin Carter, 25, was charged with assault first and armed criminal action.

According to police, two men were shot in the 1100 block of Long Way. Less than a mile away, officers responded to the Salama Market at 13th Street and Cass where they found a 28-year-old Shaquon Ash’Lay Parker shot in the backseat of a car. Parker died from his injuries.

A 27-year-old man who was shot in his thigh arrived at a local hospital for help. Anyone with information should call detectives at 314-444-5371 or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
