Man arrested in murder of juvenile in North County
ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- A 31-year-old has been arrested for the murder of a juvenile in north St. Louis County.
Officers with the Pagedale Police Department found two people shot near Page and Quendo around 3 p.m. Wednesday. A juvenile boy was found pronounced dead on the scene. A female was also shot. Her injuries were not life-threatening.
The Major Case Squad was activated and 18 investigators are working on the homicide. Detectives arrested Erric Damond Boyd for the shooting on counts of murder in the second degree, armed criminal action, assault and unlawful possession of a gun.
Boyd is being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $750,000 cash-only bond.
