Max is a Chihuahua that was adopted from the Humane Society when he was about 5 yrs. old. He's not like a typical Chihuahua-He's very special because he's very friendly. His mom wanted a new dog (her other dog, a rescued greyhound had passed on), and he has fit in very well in his new home. (He's now been there 2 1/2 yrs, and he kind of rules the roost!) His human sister, Mary, took him to Cottage Farms on the bluff above the Big River and he had a great time being free as a bird! At night, he even wore two of those light-up-bracelets around his neck, so she knew where he was at the edge of the woods, as he was exploring a whole new world!
