The smallest beagle, Pearl, was purchased from a breeder in Illinois. She is 2 years old and acts more like a human than she does an animal. She loves to nap, eat, walk, and lay in the sun. Jack is a 7 year old beagle/basset who was brought into our lives by another family who could no longer care for him. We gave him a new home 5 months ago and Jack has not missed a beat. He has adjusted to living with the "queen" Pearl, and has found his place in our home. Jack also enjoys napping, eating, taking walks, and chasing squirrels.
