Dexter came to us a a 3 month old puppy in 2008. He was found by a neighbor abandoned near the Meramec in February, the day of a major snowfall. He has grown into the most loyal, protective and loving dog we have ever known. We find his face so cute, and he is just like another one of the kids. He has his quirks and funny behaviors, such as obsessively cleaning our cat's ears. He is alos fond of jumping in the river or pond and going swimming. He loves to chase the frogs that live on our property, and has even inherited the grain allergy shared by my wife and middle daughter. He is our best friend.
