My husband and I recently adopted a dog. This was seemingly nothing new since we have 4 dogs already. However, this dog has a deformed front paw and a severe overbite. She was found dumped in the streets in California. A rescue agency in Springfield, IL saved her before she could be euthanized. After her long flight to Springfield, Penny came to our small town of Freeburg to become the final furry member of our family.
Penny is such an inspiration to everyone that she meets because she does not let the fact that she has only 3 legs stop her from doing anything. In the attached video, you will see Penny scale the pet gate that my husband put up between our kitchen and living room. She jumped the gate 3 times before we decided to take it down. She is such an amazing dog and we feel so blessed that God led her to our hearts and home.
