In the middle of today's hailstorm in Chesterfield, I saw a young fawn trying to escape the hailstorm in the woods behind my house. Poor thing was being pelted by wind, rain and hail and was trying to seek shelter. Good news is about 2 hours after the storm, I saw a doe in the same approximate area so I hope baby and mom were safely reunited!
