Every year my husband and I go up to Alton to view the eagles. This year there weren't as many as in previous years but we were rewarded with the most amazing sunset! The Sunset in Alton was taken at the Wildlife Sanctuary just before the Clark Bridge. The next one was taken from our vehicle about a half and hour later. We spotted the eagle in a tree by the dam. He flew off as I was getting out of the vehicle and I just started snapping away. I felt I was lucky to get any shot at all.
