My family, the Ulmer's, had a dairy farm outside of Greenville, IL. All of our roads drifted shut from the snow and we ended up being out of school for around 2 weeks to a month. We needed groceries one day and we had to use the four-wheel drive tractor to get to a main road. Us being the kids that we were decided to get our the ski's and have some fun with it. My boys laugh when I tell them that we went skiing in the front yard and across the hood of the car. If you notice we also did not get mail as the snow was almost to the top of the mailbox.
