Schnucks Ladue Crossing shopping center hosted the annual Hanukkah celebration on November 30, 2010 at Barnes & Noble. Dozens of children were entertained by Hanukkah storytelling and Hanukkah singing. Each youngster also received free gelt (chocolate coins), Hanukkah puzzle books and dreidels. The event was sponsored by the merchants of the shopping center and hosted by The DESCO Group, the developer and property management company of the center.
