The Rice Family would like to welcome you to Troy Toyland. We are located at 5 Pebblebrook Lane in Troy, IL just east of St. Louis, MO. We've added many new pieces this year. Most of the decorations you see are hand made. Last year we added the Carousel which features four wonder horse rocking horses from the late 50's and early 60's. Each horse was handpainted by Laurie. Last year we also added Santa's Hot Air Balloon, a 12 foot wire frame sculpture with a waving Santa. On the roof is the 12 foot Radio tower flashing the call letters of our Christmas radio station K-O-L-D. The display is animated to music using over 164channels of computer animation to synchronize the 60,000 plus lights with the music. Over 22 channels of computer control are dedicated for the Hot air balloon and Mega Tree. Our display is made up of Wireframes, Blow-molds, inflatables and lots of lights. Last year we were featured on HGTV's What's with that Christmas House. Each year we accept donations to support a not for profit charitable organization. This year we are accepting donations for Ministries Unlimited. Ministries Unlimited is the local food pantry serving the Troy, Illinois area. This year we've expanded into yet another of our neighbors’ yard and added many new pieces, such as the Leaping Arches, Juggling Seals new wireframes, and lots more blowmolds , We now span 5 yards in the neighborhood. A feature in the display is SantaVision. There are two SantaVision Video screens in the yard which play a Christmas video along with the music.
