KMOV Meteorologist Kent Ehrhardt always has his head in the clouds!
Kent took these photos with his iPhone on the way to work this
afternoon. He tells us these are called Mare's Tails because the long
wispy fibers look like a horses tail. Kent says they're actually
cirrus clouds that are high in the atmosphere. These clouds indicate
increasing wind speed with height.
