Man involved in TX shootout identified as CO parolee possibly linked to prison chief's death

A parolee believed to be linked to the death of Colorado prison chief Tom Clements, led Texas deputies on a 100 mph chase that resulted in a shootout. Evan Spencer Ebel, 28, opened fire on deputies and was shot. He is not expected to survive.
