ST. LOUIS (KMOV) — One man was shot after apparent robbery in north St. Louis early Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the scene after a 26-year-old man was shot in the chest at 1 a.m. on the 4500 block of Clarence.
Police had the entire street blocked off as they investigated an attempted first-degree robbery that may have led up to the shooting.
The victim was taken to an area hospital; his condition is unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
