CAHOKIA, Ill. (KMOV) — Police arrested a man after he slammed into the bank a tanker truck early Thursday morning in Cahokia.
Police said the suspect was traveling northbound on Route 3 just before 2 a.m. when he struck the back end of a tanker truck carrying gasoline.
Officers arrested the suspect at the scene. Charges had yet to be filed.
Some lanes of Route 3 were closed as crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened a short time later.
