(KMOV.com) -- The Major Case Squad and has been called to investigate after a man was found shot to death outside his north St. Louis County home on Sunday.
Police said a 22-year-old man was found shot right inside the front door of his home in the 9900 block of Iveland in Overland just before 10 p.m.
Police said witnesses reported seeing multiple suspects flee the area after the shooting.
Overland Police Chief Mike Laws said he doesn’t see such a crime in his town very often.
“This is a fairly rare occurrence here,” said Laws. “This is usually a peaceful neighborhood.”
Homicide detectives said they are still preparing information to release to the public.
Police have not said if any suspects are in custody.
