Raw: Crews search for missing 12-year-old in Pacific

PACIFIC, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Authorities are searching for a 12-year-old boy from Affton after he went missing while on a day trip with his family in Pacific, Missouri.

On Monday, police issued a missing person advisory for Christopher T. Marks.  He was last seen Sunday evening in the Pacific Palisades Conservation Area, just three miles southwest of Six Flags.  Marks and his family were on a day trip and planned a bar-b-q in the park.  Around 7:30 p.m., Marks indicated he was going to a rope swing on the Meramec River.  According to family, he never returned.

Marks was last seen wearing a blue or black shorts and no shirt.  He is approximately 5’4” tall, weighs 130 pounds with brown hair and has a medium complexion.

Search teams have assembled and divers are focusing on the river area near a boat ramp.

Anyone who sees Marks or has further information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or call St. Louis County Police at (314) 615-5360.
