Raw: Car break-in suspects arrested after foot chase in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two men were arrested Thursday morning for allegedly breaking into cars and leading police on a foot chase in a south St. Louis neighborhood.

Police were called to the 6300 block of Landsdowne Avenue in St. Louis Hills around 2:30 a.m. to check out reports of cars being broken into.

When officers arrived on the scene, they witnessed two men running away from the area. They pursued the suspects on foot and caught them in the 6300 block of Devonshire Avenue.

During the chase, one of the officers jumped a fence and suffered a minor finger injury. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police did not say if any property was recovered.
