(KMOV.com) – The Illinois State Treasurer says he has more than $40 million in unclaimed property and money belonging to residents of two Metro East counties.

The Treasurer’s Office says it has more than $21 million in unclaimed property from people who live in Madison County and more than $22 million in unclaimed money from those who live in St. Clair County.
