ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- The St. Louis firefighter retirement system has filed suit against the city for the latest pension ordinance.
The organization claims the new ordinance s illegal and unconstitutional. The fight over control of the pensions between the firefighters and the city has been ongoing for over a year.
The new ordinance was passed in December by the board of alderman.
