Raw: Blaze breaks out at 3-story St. Louis home

(KMOV) – Firefighters were battling a blaze that swept through a three-story row house in north St. Louis Friday morning.

 

The fire broke out in the 4400 block of N. 20th at Newhouse around 6:15 a.m.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and found flames shooting from the first and second floors. The flames then spread to the third floor and an evacuation order was given.

Crews on multiple ladders were trying to get the fire out from above to help firefighters on the ground.

It was not immediately known if anyone was inside the home when the fire started.
