(KMOV) -- Police in Eureka are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect accused of trying to rob a US Bank Monday afternoon.
According to authorities, at 4:20 p.m., a male suspect attempted to rob the US Bank branch inside the Schnucks Grocery Store on East Fifth Street by passing a demand note to the teller.
Police say he indicated he had a weapon although a weapon was never displayed. The suspect fled before receiving any money.
The suspect was described as being a man between 25 and 30 years old with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket over a grey hoodie. He also wore a red-billed ball cap and white-rimmed mirrored shades.
CrimeStoppers offers a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to a felony arrest. Tips must be submitted to CrimeStoppers for the reward.
In the last two months, two other US Bank branches at other Schnucks locations have also been robbed.
Authorities have not released further details linking the bank robberies to the same suspect at this time.
