(KMOV.com) -- An East St. Louis woman is pleading for help after watching her old neighbor’s home reduced to a pile of rubble.
“I say to myself it’s death and destruction everywhere you go you see this kind of mess,” said Gloria Bond.
The house was torn down by a contractor who sold the old bricks, which are valued by renovators across the nation.
Bond says in this case, the city should be doing more to clean up. When she couldn’t get any action, she called News 4’s Mike Colombo.
