BRIDGETON, Mo (KMOV.com) -- The city of Bridgeton is addressing what they view as a big problem with a stretch of motels in the city.

To force hotels to screen their clientele more closely, a new ordinance will take effect January 1. According to the ordinance, for every room at the establishment, they are allotted one service call. Once those calls are used up, the hotel is on its own.
