(KMOV) – St. Louis grocery store Local Harvest received over $120,000 in public donations just a few weeks ago in order to stay open. Friday, one of its locaitons closed down.

Public Harvest Café in Downtown shut its doors Friday due to financial constrains, according to the store’s owner.

So where did all the donated money go? A majority of the $120,000 went to pay back taxes and other debts, as it was stated in the store's original campaign.

The Local Harvest Café and Grocery Store in Tower Grove will remain open. Customers can use their punch cards and gift certificates there.
