(KMOV) -- Officials say more than a dozen people were arrested as coal miners from the St. Louis area held another protest against Peabody Energy at its downtown St. Louis headquarters on Tuesday.
The miners, many of them retirees, were joined in by leaders in labor and religion.
The protests began after Peabody Coal spun off Patriot Coal. They said they were rallying against maneuvers by Peabody, Arch Coal and Patriot Coal to cheat active and retired employees out of their health care benefits.
Authorities said 13 of the protesters were arrested at the scene.
