MERAMEC, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police and emergency crews worked to free a driver whose vehicle became trapped underneath a semi-trailer truck on Interstate 44 near Missouri 141 on Friday evening.
The accident happened on westbound Interstate 44 around 4:45 p.m. Emergency workers were able to free the driver from the vehicle around 5 p.m.
No word yet on what caused the car to become trapped beneath the truck.
Police have released no further information on the crash.
