ST. LOUIS (KMOV)—Two lanes of traffic were closed as fire crews worked to put out a trash fire on the side of Interstate 55 early Thursday morning.
Officials said a trash truck spilled its contents on I-55 between Bates and Delor around 5 a.m.
Authorities closed two lanes of I-55 northbound as they cleared the scene.
No injuries were reported.
