(KMOV.com) – Authorities are investigating after a man who crashed his vehicle in north St. Louis was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Friday.
According to reports, the driver crashed into a light pole along North 20th Street in College Hills just after 8 a.m. Police also have an intersection blocked with crime tape at North 20th and East Gano Avenue. Both scenes are believed to be related.
When officers arrived at the crash scene, they found the victim still in his vehicle. Officers soon discovered that the man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
An ambulance responded to the scene and took the man to a local hospital. His condition at this time is unknown.
Homicide detectives were later called to the scene to investigate further.
