(KMOV) – A car got stuck under a semi-truck on Interstate 270 in south St. Louis County on Friday.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says both vehicles tried changing lanes at the same time while traveling in the northbound lanes of the interstate at the Tesson Ferry Rd. exit around 6:25 a.m.
The car then clipped the truck and spun sideways, ending up underneath the side of the semi.
At least 10 firefighters and police officers helped cut the door off the car and pulled a man out of the vehicle.
The man suffered minor injuries and was quickly released.
One northbound lane of the interstate was closed while crews worked to clear the scene. Traffic was backed up to Interstate 55 at one point. It was not immediately known when the interstate would fully reopen.
Additional details were not immediately available.
