(KMOV) A Maryland woman is being called "hero."
Janai Stafford has just boarded a bus in Baltimore when the driver alerted her that something was wrong. Stafford jumped into action, preventing a potentially deadly outcome.
Stafford, who doesn't drive, was able to steer the bust to the side of the road. She then called 911 for help.
Stafford is being called a hero for seizing the moment and saving the driver and bus full of students.
The driver was treated and release from a hospital.
