(KMOV) – A youth football coach in Oklahoma could face charges after he protected kids from a knife-wielding man.
Footage from a home video shows kids riding a float during their parade in Moore, Oklahoma.
The coach told authorities that a man approached them with a knife after he began complaining they were making too much noise.
Moments after, the coach told authorities instinct took over.
“When I went after the guy I wanted to make sure he didn't bring that knife back out, so I'm not proud of this point, but I snapped and I did push him, and I did hit him a few times."
Authorities say that because the coach went after him, the man is now considered a victim and the coach could be charged.
The knife-wielding man won’t face charges considering he did not harm any of the kids.
