Two women face charges in alleged nursing home beating

(KMOV.com) --Two women face aggravated battery charges after allegedly beating an elderly patient at a nursing home in Caseyville, Ill. on Friday.

Caseyville police responded to the Caseyville Nursing Home, located in the 600 block of West Lincoln Boulevard, for a disturbance call.

Nina Dorsey and Julia Tillis were arrested after the pair allegedly removed a 78-year-old patient from the nursing home with force and battered her.

St. Clair County police apprehended Dorsey and Tillis in the parking lot of the nursing home.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The State's Attorney's office filed official charges against the women on Saturday.
