(KMOV.com) – A store owner is  praising four young men in a set of unusual circumstances.

The four entered a store hours after it closed, and not even the owner could believe what happened next.

Instead of stealing or ransacking the place, they left four dollars on the counter for batteries and an audio cable.

They even left change to cover the tax.

The men thought the store was open because the lights were on and door was left unlocked.

“We didn’t see anyone at the cash register, so we were walking around,” said Kell’e Gallimore. “We were like, hello, is anyone here? Anybody here? Nobody answered.”

To say thank you, the store manager tracked them down on the football feild at William Paterson University and rewarded them with a $50 gift card.
