(KMOV.com) – A sixth grader at Fort Zumwalt South Middle School is using his history of heart disease to help others his age.

Kyle Rybak had two heart procedures by the time he was 4-years-old and had an even bigger scare at age 9 when he had to have open heart surgery.

Rybak is helping to raise money for heart disease through Jump Rope for Heart at his school.  He gave a presentation in front of 900 kids and showed them that heart disease can affect anyone of any age.
