ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMOV) – Police say the owner of a home in south St. Louis stabbed a man who attempted to break in around 12 a.m. Friday morning.
Police said a man kicked in the door of a detached garage at a home in the 2800 block of Oceola.
A man and a woman were inside the garage when the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife. The male victim wrestled the knife away from the suspect and stabbed him multiple times.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. Both victims were being questioned in the investigation.
