ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- All eastbound lanes on Interstate 64 in Illinois has been reopened after crews cleared a Monday morning accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer.
According to reports, the accident happened around 6 a.m. at mile marker 3, not far from the Interstate 55/70 and I-64 split. The accident affected drivers exiting from southbound I-55/70 onto eastbound I-64.
It appeared the truck driver failed to navigate a turn and lost control of the rig. There is no word if the driver was injured.
Crews have cleared the scene and all lanes of EB I-64 have been reopened.
