ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Crews battled a large fire at a house in north St. Louis on Friday night.
Firefighters were called to the 5400 block of Thrush Avenue around 7:45 p.m.
Flames fully engulfed the building during the first-alarm fire, which sent large plumes of smoke into the sky.
Officials have released no word on the extent of the damage. Firefighters on the scene told News 4 the house has been vacant for some time.
