(KMOV) -- Crews battled an apartment fire in south St. Louis Thursday morning.
Fire officials say the call came out at 6 a.m. for a report of a fire at an apartment complex on Alaska and Courtoise in south St. Louis city.
The blaze reportedly started on the 2nd floor of the eight-unit structure. Authorities say two units were heavily damaged.
It was not known if anyone was injured.
