KIRKWOOD, Missouri (KMOV) -- Authorities confirm a pedestrian was hit by an Amtrak train in Kirkwood on Wednesday.

Police said the victim was struck on tracks behind a box company near the 300 block of Leffingwell Ave. around 4:45 p.m.
