Raw: 1 hospitalized after vehicle flips in Maryland Heights

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Authorities say one person was taken to a St. Louis hospital after their vehicle overturned in Maryland Heights on Tuesday.

Authorities said the victim was driving on westbound Page Avenue near Lindbergh Boulevard around 9:30 a.m. when their vehicle crashed and overturned, landing upside down in the middle of the roadway.

Officials with North Central Fire Department said the victim was taken to Mercy Hospital in unknown condition.

Traffic in the area was jammed while emergency crews cleared the scene.

Police have not yet determined what caused the crash.
