ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are searching for a female robbery suspect who led police on a chase with another robbery suspect in St. Louis County Wednesday night.

Police said they spotted the two suspects driving a silver Honda Pilot near the intersection of Mimika and Harney around 8 p.m.

According to police, the Pilot matched the description of a vehicle allegedly used in a previous robbery in the 500 block of Bates.

Police said the SUV made an abrupt u-turn in and attempted to drive away.

Officers attempted to pull the suspects’ vehicle over, but they fled from police. The officers gave chase, pursuing the suspects across parts of St. Louis County and city.

The chase ended when the suspects stopped the vehicle in the 100 block of Chambers. The female suspect fled on foot.

Authorities took the male driver into custody and called in air support and K-9 units to search for the female suspect.

The female suspect is still at large. The man taken into custody had numerous outstanding warrants.
