(KMOV.com) – A Washington Park teenager wanted in a 2013 murder was arrested after a nearly five-hour standoff in East St. Louis on Saturday.

Police told News 4 they received a tip 17-year-old Shaun Henderson was at a home in the 1400 block of N. 43rd St.

Authorities said officers went to the house and arrested Henderson nearly five hours later after he tried to run out the back door. Henderson is being held in a juvenile detention center, and authorities said he will be charged as an adult.

Henderson was wanted for allegedly killing Jordan Anderson at a home in the 1400 block of N. 44th St. in January 2013. Police said Henderson chased Anderson down and fired several rounds at him. Anderson later died from his injuries.
