(KMOV.com) -- A Michigan college student on his way to the bank, is flagged down, handed a phone already connected to 911, and saves a new born baby's life.
The 21-year-old college student was flagged down by a man waving his cell phone. The panicked man was the baby's father who couldn't speack english, except "my wife."
The man then handed his cellphone over to the student. The student relayed to the 911 operator that a baby had just been born and was not breathing. Following the operators instructions, the student gave the new born girl CPR.
Had the student not stopped, the baby may have died.
Now, the baby girl is doing well, but must stay in the hospital for several weeks.
