(KMOV)-- A major breakthrough in cancer research announced at Washington University. Scientists at Wash U. are using powerful DNA sequencing technology to decode the genomes of a breast cancer patient. A genome holds all of our hereditary information and reveals clues to curing cancer. The scientists' findings were published in the medical journal, "nature."
