(KMOV) --An innocent man could possibly be sent to prison for a crime he did not commit.

New information is available regarding the Cornell McKay, the man convicted for the August 2012 armed robbery case in the Central West End neighborhood that killed 22-year-old former SLU student Megan Boken.

McKay’s attorneys say that McKay was misidentified in a reckless rush to judgment.

News 4’s Craig Cheatham investigates.
