CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CNN) - A group of climbers in Cedar Falls, Iowa braved the cold temperatures to scale a frozen silo.
Some of the climbers did it for class credit at the University of Northern Iowa. However, two of the youngest climbers were there for the fun of it.
"It's just really fun getting up really high and ice climbing," said 10-year-old Will Bickel.
"I think it's a new experience and people should be open to trying it because you can get really into it," said 11-year-old Seamus Thompson.
The climbers used safety ropes to increase their safety.
