(KMOV.com) -- In West Virginia, four homes are now smoking rubble after a natural gas line exploded.
The hour-long fire melted guardrails and pavement on a section of Interstate 77 near Sissonville.
Five other homes have extensive damage. Several victims were treated for smoke inhalation but everyone survived.
Most of the residents were not home when the 20-inch main blew shooting flames 75 feet into the air.
