Full interview: Shawn Hornbeck's parents talk child abduction

(KMOV) – The parents of Shawn Hornbeck, who was kidnapped in 2002 and found in Kirkwood five years later, spoke with News 4 about the three missing women found in Cleveland earlier this week.

In October 2002, Hornbeck - then 11 - was kidnapped while riding his bike to a friend’s house in Washington County.

In January 2007, authorities found Hornbeck and another kidnapped boy, Ben Ownby, in the Kirkwood apartment of Michael Devlin. Ownby, 13, had been abducted four days earlier.

While Hornbeck could give perspective on his experience in captivity, his parents Pam and Craig Akers, offered a whole new point of view on what they went through
